Doubt is a tricky thing to deal with, and feels awful! Whether you're doubting God's existence, a certain attribute of Him, or something He can do, I wanted to give you some tips and resources to help! I don't have all of the answers, but I wanted to encourage you.
What to pray
Prayer plays such a key part in overcoming doubt! I know it kind of sounds weird to pray to God when you're doubting Him, but if you're anything like I was, deep down you know He is really there. Even if you don't, crying out to Him is a great place to start.
Pray that God would replace your doubt with His faith. Pray that God would reveal Himself to you. Pray that He will strengthen your faith. Pray that He will give you assurance of Him and His presence. Because He will.
How to regain faith
God is bigger than your doubts. Satan wants you to doubt, but God wants to give you freedom from it! My biggest tip is to actively pursue faith in Jesus. Don't just sit back and allow yourself to doubt. Pray about it, research facts about the authenticity of Christianity (I did a series on my Instagram account that has some facts if you want to check it out #gipapologeticsseries*), and read on how to overcome doubt. That's why I listed things to pray for in the above section, and rounded up awesome resources in the section below.
I highly encourage you to read these resources, but to also seek out help if needed. Talk to a pastor or trusted godly adult for mentoring and advice. It could make all the difference!

In my last post, I talked about how to study the Bible. That and prayer have had such an impact on my walk with God! I wanted to give you one of my biggest tips to remaining consistent in my prayer life in the form of a tutorial. Making these prayer cards has kept me focused and accountable! I highly encourage you to make some of your own. Now let's get started, its super simple!
1. Make a list of your prayer requests.
Write down everything you want to be praying for on a regular basis and prayer requests others have given you. You can add things later if you forget- don't worry!
2. Divide them up.
First off, choose some prayer requests that are very important to you and you want to pray for everyday. In my picture above, those are the first 7 lines. Next, divide up the rest. You're going to have 7 cards- one for each day of the week. When I made mine, I just wrote one on each card (and then the next) until all of the requests were gone. You can do that in the 4th step.
3. Get your supplies together.
For my cards, I used plain lined white 3x5 cards and Crayola Supertip markers. You could go a lot fancier and use cards like these or these (they're both on sale right now!) or your favorite pen. Whatever YOU like :)
4. Make them!
To make them, write the day of the week at the top. Next, write down your daily prayer requests, and then divide up the other requests between the days, like I explained above. I chose a color theme for each day, and used two different colors for the name of the day and weekly prayer requests, and the daily prayer requests. Get creative, though! You could add stickers, washi tape, watercolors, etc.- whatever makes you happy!
5. Use them- daily!
There's no use in having them if you don't use them, right? Commit to praying through them every day for a month (but don't stop there!). It will become a habit in no time!
Prayer is so important and should be highly esteemed. This is a way that I am able to stay accountable- and I hope it helps you too! But it may not work for everybody. What are some ways you organize your prayer life? In this video, Girl Defined gives some tips on how they stay focused!
